I paid up our deposit of rm1.5k to the selected travel agent for 3 persons, my hubby. our younger son Nabil and me. And the next month both my hubby and I received letters from Inland Revenue that we need to pay about  14k for having underdeclared our income for a span of 7 years.  i dont understand how they work, but we went to the office to ask for a discount but that was not possible.so, we were given more time to pay in 12 months instalments.

i almost withdraw from going umrah buy i persevered. from bad to worse, the next month( (august) my car was hit by a tanker while going down a highway.. the rear of the car was badly damaged, but thank god everyone inside was safe.  this is it.. i decided to withdraw from umrah but was advised against it by my sis and daughter.

the total cost for repair was 7.7k.  it took two months to be repaired. by this time i have to pay up to the travel agent  the balance amount of 14k.  I have that money somehow.  Alhamdulillah after paying up, Allah made it easy for us.  We managed to pay for the repair and sold the car immediately.  after settling the rest of the car loan we had in our hand 14k.  ( the number seemed to be somehow related, no? and the hair on my neck stands)  I have had sleepless night thinking of how i can manage all this payment but god is great.

i saved 10k for a new car as we need a car to replace the lost one, meanwhile surviving on only one car.  since we dont have to pay instalments for the lost car, we saved 3 months payment, which amounted to 3k. alhamdulillah

part 3 on the way

i did my umrah recently alhmdulillah, God is great.  I cried when i saw masjid nabawi, and i couldnt hold my tears when i did my first solah by the door of masjid nabawi, oh my god, the feeling was so great.

when my sister suggested that we go umrah together, i was skeptical about a lot of things, from financial ability to mental readiness to physical fitness..

and when i agreed to go, i was tested, in fact we were tested both my husband and I and our son who was at home at the time who was the only one who was able to join us.

to be continued..
